Work Experience

The Astrophysics group runs a 1-week work experience programme for secondary school students during June or July of each year.

Up to twelve (Year 10) secondary school students can participate in the Astrophysics group work experience programme each year. The programme is usually run sometime in June or July coinciding with the University's mid-year non-teaching period.

Check this address: in February and submit an application then if the timing works with your school’s scheduled dates. Applications close in early March.

In 2015, the program is being held during 22-26 June.


Post-presentation snapshot. The work experience week ends with presentations by the students.
